Stones, Flowers, and Lessons Learned

If you’ve ever felt the pull between the life you inherited and the life your spirit is aching to bloom into—this book is for you.

Stones, Flowers, and Lessons Learned is a self-help memoir for every mujer who has carried generational pain in her bones, searched for meaning in the chaos, or whispered prayers into the dark hoping someone—an ancestor, God, her own soul—was listening.

In these pages, Dr. Alejandra Acuña shares the stones she’s carried and the flowers she’s gathered: stories of a complicated mother wound, spiritual awakenings, ancestry reclaimed, shamanic medicine, church basements, academic achievement, heartbreak, and the extraordinary resilience that blooms in the lives of Latina women everywhere.

Guided by research, ancestral teachings, and a healer’s intuition, she blends memoir with practical tools to help you:

  • untangle old wounds
  • transform self-doubt into credible affirmations
  • hear your still small voice
  • reconnect with your spirit, your lineage, and your worth
  • and take baby steps, guided by joy, into a life in full bloom

This book is…
A companion. A ceremony. A spiritual rebozo that wraps you in belonging, courage, and hope.

Life will hand you stones.
Life will give you flowers.
And in between?
The lessons that remind you: you are worthy of love, joy, and spiritual connection—today and always.
